Who are we and how did our adventure with sprouts begin?

This is Małgorzata Zakłos-Szyda, I would like to welcome you to our website. I have the great pleasure of being one third of the team, which is an extraordinary scientific trio who met at the Lodz University of Technology and who share a passion for healthy eating and science - from these passions ALFA9 sprouted. Our main motivation to start cooperation was the desire to introduce to the market a product with a high content of active ingredients based on a natural composition. Today, we can proudly admit that we have succeeded, and the product based on extremely nutritious alfalfa sprouts is now available to everyone, including the elderly, vegans and athletes.

My name is Edyta Gendaszewska-Darmach and I would like to secretly tell you that our superpower is mutually complementary competences : at the higher education level, Grażyna Budryn holds an M.Sc. technical sciences, specializing in chemical technology, Małgorzata Zakłos-Szyda - M.Sc. technical sciences, specializing in biotechnology, and I graduated in biology with a specialization in molecular biology. We all have habilitated doctor degrees, and Grażyna Budryn is also a full professor. Together, we created a health-promoting mixture based on alfalfa sprouts fermented by a selected strain of lactic acid bacteria . Finally, we used an innovative freeze-drying method to preserve the valuable nutritional properties of food for longer.

What exactly is ALFA9? My name is Grażyna Budryn and I am in a hurry to answer. Our product is food available in two flavors: fruit and vegetable , each of them is characterized by a wealth of nutrients supporting the proper functioning of the body. Alfa9 is available in the form of a powdered, freeze-dried mixture with fruit flavor with wild rose and elderberry and vegetable flavor with green peas and spinach.
